Once considered country living, the town of Avon has grown to be one of the most desired towns to live in the western portion of Indianapolis. US 36 runs through the center of Avon, offering easy access to shopping, dining, parks and entertainment. Avon real estate consists mostly of single family homes in Traditional American style and many custom built homes and neighborhoods. Avon is one of the most affordable towns bordering Indianapolis and offers 4 star schools.
