Avon Market Report 2008-2009

Avon Indiana real estate market report comparison for 2008 and 2009. The trending data indicates the market is starting to move up, with both number of homes sold and the price point in Avon ending higher in 2009 than in 2008. My personal observation is the price point has moved up in the lower end of the market and down in the higher end of the market.

In the spring and early summer of 2009, there were many foreclosures and bank owned homes selling below $80,000. That market has all but disappeared in Avon, as the lower price point is nearing an average of $90,000. If the interest rates stay low and the snow ever goes away, I believe we will see good sales numbers this year.
