The neighborhood is not exclusively for the wealthy, though. Within the boundaries of Meridian Kessler are many modest sized and modestly priced homes, catering to anyone who loves the handiwork of classic homes built in the early 1900's.
The Meridian-Kessler Neighborhood Association is a volunteer group of homeowners and businesses that works together to maintain the beauty of the area. One of their most coveted events is the yearly Meridian-Kessler home and garden tour.
Meridian Kessler is about 4 miles north of downtown Indianapolis and is located in Washington Township. The boundaries are 38th Street to the south, Meridian on the west, Kessler Blvd. on the north and the Monon Trail on the east.
