Avon Real Estate Updates - September 2008

For the month of September, there were 67 homes sold and closed in Avon, compared to 86 homes sold in August.

The highest price home was $519,900.

The lowest priced home sold was $53,500.

The average Avon home sold was a three bedroom, two bath with 2094 square feet.

The average Days on Market for homes sold was 85 days, the same as last month.

There are currently 501 homes available for sale in Avon, which gives us an absorption rate of 7.4 months.

It is typical for activity to start to decrease this month and continue throughut the winter. We will see less buyers, but there will also be less homes available for sale.  

Average days on market and absorption rate will vary by price range.
